The purpose of this research was to diagnose and model the teaching problems of English language teachers in junior and senior high schools in Jahrom city. For this purpose, a teacher training course (TTC) was held for 12 sessions for about 35 English language teachers, to improve the quality of English language education, and also provide them with opportunities to share their experiences regarding teaching and learning English and exchange opinions about problems of teaching this language. After completing the teacher training course, 4 English language classes were observed, and short interviews were conducted with the teachers. After collecting and analyzing the data, using the qualitative coding method of Corbin and Strauss (2008), a model of English language teaching problems was presented. In this model, the problems of teaching and learning English in Jahrom schools were divided into two main groups: individual problems (related to students and teachers) and environmental problems. Also, the bar graph of the frequency of teachers' reference to each type of problem showed that among individual problems, those related to students' knowledge level had the highest frequency. Also among environmental problems, the highest frequency belonged to the problems related to the educational system.
