Abstract
The aim of the research was to identify the components of the establishment of employment-oriented secondary education. Its method was descriptive-analytical and its statistical population was the deputy heads and educational experts and managers of secondary education in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province (342 people). 61 people were interviewed using purposive sampling (until theoretical saturation). According to the axial and open codes extracted from the interviews, a closed-ended questionnaire with 69 items and two dimensions of the current and desired situation was prepared. The validity and reliability of the tool were confirmed by experts and the reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was calculated to be 0.96. Data were analyzed using SPSS26 and Smart-PLS. For the establishment of employment-oriented secondary education, 6 axial codes were extracted: creating and strengthening career orientations and skills, employment-oriented characteristics of the curriculum, course interaction with institutions and companies, the labor market, families and local communities, and course resources. According to the results of the questionnaire, although these components and indicators should be given great attention, they are given little attention. Examining the fit of the measurement, structural, and general models indicated confirmation of the research model.
