Abstract
The present study aimed to investigate teachers' practical knowledge about the use of art in teaching non-art subjects in elementary school. This study was an applied-descriptive research, qualitative and phenomenological in terms of data type, and its data collection was conducted using a survey method.. The statistical population of the research is the primary school teachers of Karaj city, a sample of 31 people participated with the purposeful sampling method. Data analysis was done by three-step coding method and validation was done by re-referring the results of analysis and coding to the participants. The findings of research include 50 practical experiences of teachers about the use of art in teaching non-art subjects along with determenating subjects and their implementation steps, as well as 12 categories and themes related to the results of those experiences, among the 12 results, motivational works, facilitating, consolidating and deepening learning and creating the context for the production of artistic works, respectively are mostly emphasized and mentioned by teachers
