باورهای جنسیتی مرتبط با ریاضی در ذهن دانش‌آموزان

چکیده

هدف مقاله حاضر، بررسی باورهای دانش­آموزان در مورد ماهیت حوزه ریاضی از منظر جنسیت (مردانه، زنانه، خنثی) از طریق وجود یا نبودِ تفاوت جنسیتی در پاسخ­های دانش­آموزان بود. بدین منظور، مقیاس باورهای تحصیلی ریاضی توسط 400 نفر (200 نفر دختر و 200 نفر پسر) از دانش­آموزان دبیرستانی شهرستان جیرفت در رشته­های ریاضی و تجربی تکمیل شد. برای تحلیل داده­های حاصل از پرسشنامه از آزمون­های من­ویتنی، خی دو و t گروه­های مستقل استفاده شد. نتایج به دست آمده حاکی از آن بودند که ریاضی از نظر این دانش‌آموزان، یک حوزه مردانه است و در پاسخ­های دانش­آموزان، این نگاه مشهود بود. همچنین نتایج نشان دادند که نظرات دختران و پسران در مورد برخی از گویه­های پرسشنامه با هم متفاوت است. با توجه به این که ریاضی از نظر دانش­آموزان شرکت کننده در پژوهش حاضر، یک حوزه مردانه به حساب آمده است، لازم است معلمان و آموزشگران ریاضی، اقداماتی را جهت اصلاح چنین باورهایی انجام دهند.
