Abstract

The Enacted curriculum is, in fact, the interpretation and perception that teachers intend of the curriculum and implement it accordingly. The aim of the present applied research is to evaluate the new physics curriculum in action using Eisner's educational connoisseurship and criticism humanistic model, which has been done with a qualitative approach and live critique method. In this research, purposeful convenience sampling and data collection using observation tools with continuous presence of critics in seven physics classes in different schools, semi-structured interviews, open-ended questionnaires, recording speech interactions and imaging have been used. Data analysis was performed by content analysis using open and axial coding and led to the identification of 88 basic themes, 20 organizing themes and 5 global themes. In order to validate the research, the structural corroboration, consensual validation, referential adequacy have been met. Given the results obtained And insufficient compliance with curricula, effective teacher training on upstream documents as well as the new curriculum seems necessary.
