Art reveals the various capacities of the human mind to represent perceived meanings and realities. Providing a practical aspect for artistic education in the educational system is a prudent measure and brings about development in scientific, economic, social and moral dimensions. Dewey is the first theoretician among educators to think highly of the artistic approach or artistic thinking in the education system. The present study aims to critically analyze and study artistic education with regard to ideas of John Deweyfrom scholars’ perspectives.
